Taking an Oathmark break

I have updated my Oathmark project page so that it now lists the units and characters that I have painted. At the moment I have 32 units and 28 characters painted and ready to game. I have more than enough models to play some games with so I am going to take a break and work on some terrain and other things that I need to get ready to play. I also have some lights that I need to install over the gaming table so people can actually see when they play. Especially important if there is going to be any games here in the winter.

Some of the recent models I have finished:

Elf Linebreakers

This is the first ten Elf Linebreakers. The other ten have axes. They are a touch plain looking but at least they won’t stick out in an Oathmark game like my Swordmasters did.

Goblin Characters

Some Goblin characters. A mounted spellcaster, a Champion with sword and shield and a second with a whip. All three of the Goblin Champions have whips. Probably not something that Goblin HR would approve of. The fellow posed using his whip would be a great Goblin Slave Champion but there is no way that you would spend the points to add a Champion to either of those units :-)

Skeleton Soldiers

A unit of 15 Skeleton Soldiers. These didn’t come out too badly but they were, as with the other Max Mini Undead models, a bit of a paint in the ass to paint. Quite a lot of detail on them. Glad to have them done.

Undead Characters

And even more characters for the Undead army. The fellow with the banner will probably be used as a General. The chap in the middle is a Champion for the Revenant unit and the last model is a Champion for the Skeleton Soldiers.

I have just finished panting a set of GW Arcane Ruins. I used to have a set of these that I painted when I was playing Strange Aeons. These will be great for Oathmark as a centrepiece to fight over as well as scatter terrain or Undead Oathmark terrain.

I also have a stack of hills that I need to flock and paint. I have a lot of other terrain but no hills. I will also need to build some area terrain markers for woods. I have individual trees (and tree stumps) but nothing to act as area terrain. I have some odd pieces of MDF that would work but I don’t have the tools to cut and sand the edges.
